Circulation Disorders

Circulation Disorder Detection

The bodies circulatory system refers the blood transport system. Circulatory disorders can arise from problems with the heart, blood vessels or the blood itself. Conditions that affect the circulatory system can result in reduced blood flow and oxygen capacity. Circulation disorders can lead to serious health risks and disease including; heart attack, stroke, blood clots, and more.  Thermography can give a unique look into how your circulatory system is operating.

Thermography has clinical value in detecting Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). DVT is a condition in which a blood clot forms in one of your deep veins, usually in your leg. DVT can cause pain and swelling and may lead to complications such as pulmonary embolism. Thermography can help aid clinical decisions regarding varicosities, thrombosis, and DVT. Thermal imaging offers a visualization of the enlarged or inflamed vein.
