DVT

Thermography has clinical value in detecting Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). DVT is a condition in which a blood clot forms in one of your deep veins, usually in your leg. DVT can cause pain and swelling and may lead to complications such as pulmonary embolism. Thermography can help aid clinical decisions regarding varicosities, thrombosis, and DVT. Thermal imaging offers a visualization of the enlarged or inflamed vein.
